NOS – Action in September 2019, Brazil
We claim responsibility for the noise bomb placed in the male toilet on the ground floor of the Butantã Shopping Mall at 2718 Profesor Francisco Morato Avenue in the Butantã barrio, on the west side of the city of São Paulo, on Friday 20-09-2019, in retaliation for the presence in this mall of the Polishop and Daiso Japan corporations, whose owners, the magnates João Appolinario and Francisco Hirota (owner of the supermarket chain Hirota, which has been the target of one of our previous actions) financed the electoral campaign of the fascist Jair Bolsonaro, including the financing of the fraudulent scheme created by the right-wing Yankee Steve Bannon of false news in WhatsApp, and their support for his dictatorship.
It was also an action against the pension reform (whose rapporteur in the Brazilian Senate is Tasso Jereissati, from the family that owns the Pátio Higienópolis shopping center, also one of our previous targets). It was also a warning to Jereissati and to all politicians not to approve the pension reform, under penalty of new attacks against the strongholds of the bourgeoisie and capital.
In September, the corrupt Brazilian congress and the fascist government of Jair Bolsonaro intended to definitively approve the criminal “reform” of the pension created by Chicago Boy Paulo Guedes and the national and international bankers, and a new labor “reform” that would destroy the rights of the workers forever. Under the pressure of the people and the internal struggle among the factions of the Brazilian right, it was postponed until October.
Bolsonaro and his allies João Doria and Wilson Witzel (governors of the states of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro) continue to transform Brazil into a police state, with violence against the people and all opponents. Bolsonaro’s popularity is steadily declining. Our collective predicts greater political violence and police repression in the coming months.
As our collective predicted, the reformist left and the union bureaucracies have practically renounced fighting pension reform as a fait accompli.
We call on all honest social militants persecuted by the system to rebel against these bureaucracies, break with their policies of capitulation and class conciliation, and adhere to mass struggle and direct action against the system. There is no other way out. We must attack the system head-on. THE TIME IS NOW!
AS LONG AS THERE IS MISERY THERE WILL BE REBELLION!
FIRE TO THE STATE, THE CORPORATIONS AND THEIR LACKEYS!
NOS – CELL OF OPPOSITION TO THE SYSTEM
